Teaching That Connects. Learning That Lasts.
A complete, thematic primary curriculum designed around four core global themes – Conflict, Communication, Culture and Conservation – helping children understand the world and their place in it.
Learning Means the World: A Curriculum That Connects Knowledge, Creativity and Character
Built by teachers and mapped to the National Curriculum, Learning Means the World gives schools everything they need to deliver creative, connected learning. Each unit blends subjects through powerful themes, develops key skills and values, and builds progression from Early Years to Year 6.

Four Global Themes. One Connected Curriculum.
Every theme in Learning Means the World is built around one of four global issues: Conflict, Communication, Culture and Conservation.
Together, they give pupils a deep understanding of the world they live in, helping them grow into informed, compassionate and responsible global citizens.
These four threads run through every subject, connecting learning to real life – so children don’t just learn about the world, they learn for the world.

Conflict
Understanding differences, resolving disputes, and promoting peace — from the playground to the wider world.
Pupils learn to see conflict as an opportunity for growth, creativity and collaboration.

Communication
Building confident communicators who can listen, express and connect.
Lessons explore how communication has shaped history, technology and human relationships.

Culture
Celebrating diversity and shared humanity.
Children explore traditions, beliefs and creative expressions across the world and discover what unites us.

Conservation
Encouraging care for our planet and its future, pupils learn how sustainable choices and small actions can make a global difference.
A Complete, Connected Journey from Early Years to Year 6
Learning Means the World grows with your pupils.
The curriculum is organised into four progressive pathways – from early exploration to independent navigation – giving schools a clear, consistent structure that supports continuous development in knowledge, skills, values and attitudes.
Each pathway is mapped across Core Themes, Competency Units, and NC Essentials Units, ensuring full National Curriculum coverage while keeping learning meaningful and creative.

Explorers
(Ages 3–5)
Through playful exploration, children develop a love of learning and the confidence to ask questions about the world around them.

Pathfinders (Ages 5–7)
Children are empowered to think outside the box, make their own choices, and express original ideas, building the skills to navigate new concepts with self-assurance.

Adventurers (Ages 7–9)
Pupils learn to embrace new experiences, persevere through setbacks, and approach every task with courage and readiness.

Navigators (Ages 9–11)
Applying knowledge critically, guiding others, taking action and preparing to become confident global citizens ready for secondary school.
Everything You Need to Teach a Connected, Creative Curriculum
Every aspect of Learning Means the World has been designed to save teachers time, while keeping learning rich, purposeful and inspiring.
The curriculum is built from three fully mapped unit types that work together to cover every subject, skill and progression point — from EYFS to Year 6.
Together, these units cover subjects such as Geography, History, Science, Art, Music, Design Technology and more – all sequenced, resourced and assessment-ready.
Every plan, resource and objective is clearly mapped, giving teachers confidence and leaders consistency.

Core Themes
Main focus units that link subjects around engaging ideas, from Come Fly With Me! Asia to Global Warning.
Each Core Theme builds knowledge, skills and understanding through cross-curricular learning rooted in the 4Cs.
Competency Units
History-led stories that develop the four key competencies of Creativity, Courage, Commitment and Community.
Pupils meet diverse role models like Ada Lovelace, Mary Anning, and Walter Tull, learning through their achievements and challenges.
NC Essentials Units
Targeted Geography and Science units that ensure National Curriculum coverage.
Each one reinforces key knowledge and investigative skills through creative, themed learning.
Rigorous Structure. Real-World Impact.
Behind every creative theme sits a carefully mapped progression framework.
Learning Means the World ensures pupils build knowledge and skills step-by-step, while leaders can clearly track coverage and continuity across the whole school.

The Twelve Strands of Progression
A complete system that sequences knowledge, skills and concepts across every subject and year group, ensuring learning builds logically and never needlessly repeats.
Meet the Dimensions Learning Lexicon
A progressive vocabulary framework that helps pupils develop the language of learning itself, building confidence in thinking, talking and writing about their ideas.
Mapped to the National Curriculum
Every objective and skill is aligned with National Curriculum expectations, giving schools clear coverage and robust evidence for inspection.
