Jurassic Park 

Jurassic Park is an exciting Early Years unit that immerses children in the world of dinosaurs, fossils and prehistoric landscapes. Through imaginative play, small-world exploration and hands-on investigation, children become archaeologists, explorers and palaeontologists. They dig for dinosaur bones, make erupting volcanoes, build dinosaur nests, create giant footprints, and study dinosaur features, habitats and life cycles. The unit builds rich vocabulary, supports storytelling through themed play, and develops early maths and science skills through counting dinosaurs, comparing sizes, sorting bones, exploring materials and investigating changes. Outdoor learning is central, encouraging big movement, natural exploration and role-play in realistic environments.
